Disable overlayed controls AND arrow

I have been using PocketCloud for a while now and it works great. I noticed that it was not up to date around a week ago and let my Droid4 update. After the update, there is a huge overlay across the bottom of the screen that lets the user bring up other commands (keyboard, special keys, etc). This can be shrunk by selecting the arrow on the right side of the screen, but the arrow persists. I have a physical keyboard and do not need this 99% of the time and would be more than happy to bring up these extra settings from the settings button as it was done before. Is there a way to get rid of the HUGE arrow and go back to the old method? This is a large chunk of my screen real estate especially since the mouse overlay is below and to the right of the mouse arrow.
