Support Assistant Not Finding or Installing Updates

I'm really frustrated since I purchased XPS 9510 for my wife not 5 months ago...  Support Assistant doesn't update, nor install updates (does everything else).  It started a few weeks ago, and she has been on with Tech support twice now.  The last tech support person basically told her to deal with it because they will most likely come up with an update...  What kind of answer/resolution is that???  Then both tech support personnel went and repeatedly deleted and re-installed it to an older version, which didn't work.  Does anyone else have this issue?  I'm really mad because this laptop wasn't cheap by any means!

    SupportAssist has it's own quirks.

Install Dell update application to update the drivers.

Well it is now August 12, 2022 and Dell Support Assistant has yet to update any drivers. I can go online to do it, but not all apply to our laptop, which kind of frustrates me as to which one I should download and in what order...

I can't really help with Support Assist or Dell-Update (as I don't use them).

However, I do have an XPS--15_9520 here, and can tell you this.

If your Device-Manager is free of errors and the laptop is working, there are no updates that you particularly need at this time. And if some driver DOES become available, it will be offered to you from Microsoft's Windows-Update.

I installed it, and it didn't do anything, just sat there for 10 minutes and then closed.

For the first two months, the Support Assistant updated nearly every time that I used it. I refuse to believe that for the past three months there are no updates.
