You only have 8 servers.  Can you enter an IP discovery range for each of the servers and try to see if it is one particular box that is getting hung up each time?

Is this box up to date with the latest SP's etc, that your "good" boxes are?

Actually i only have one server and some 7 clients (optiplex / latitude)one switch and one printer.

meantime i found out that the switch was the thing which made the error but still don't know how to fix it

Hmmm...was the switch a Dell PowerConnect switch?  What model number?  I think only Power Connect are supported.

If you go to the troubleshooting tool and do an SNMP test on the switch, does it respond with a pass?

Yes it is a power connect switch model no.3024
and since today it doesn't respond to the web interface
and i don't remember trying troubleshooting tool no the switch because it was the first thing to be discovered by ITA and I still see it on ITA even though its IP isn't in the discovery include range

Well..I found out that the switches IP in fact is in the ITA include range but that doesn't change the fact that the discovery does stop on the swich and that the web interface cannot be launched through ITA only by typing its IP(which is not shown in the ITA).
and yes it does pass the SNMP test in the troubleshooting tool
