The PowerEdge 430 SC uses Software Based OS RAID Levels 0 & 1. One would need to know more about how you have the system set up now. How many hard drives are in the system?
Are there multiple partitions already set up? If so, if say you have 2 drives, one is volume c, one is volume d:, then you could move all contents of d:, if any, to the c: partition, then convert c: to a dynamic. The delete volume d:. You may then create a raid mirror of c:, uding the 2nd drive. If you're not sure how to do this, call Dell Enterprise Support at 1-800-822-8965. The Technicians there will assist.
