Can you fax with Dell AIO Photo 926?

Decided to try to fax something with my Dell 926 today, but noticed that there is no phone jack on the back of the printer. I have Comcast Cable, but I know I'd need a phone line to be able to send faxes, of course. But the AIO doesn't have a place to plug in a phone line, why is that?

Your phone line is connected to the modem in your system.

the 926 is not a standalone printer so it won't send / receive fax by itself. basically, the phone line is connected to the computer and it should serve as the medium in order for you to send and receive fax. (well, you'll have the option if you'd like to save the fax document in your computer or directly print it out on your 926)

make sure your driver is appropriate with your OS, and look at your dialing rules..control panel for phone/modem...I had to add plus "1" before my area code to make it work, very simple....
