What is your DSL equipment?  In some areas the Westell 327W is popular with Verizon.  There is a certain revision of this hardware that is incompatible with Dell's wireless adapters.  After all this time I find it difficult to believe that any of it is still being used, but just in case, you should read this:  Cannot Establish Link to Westell Versalink.  Make sure you read the entire thing as this problem only affects a specific revision of the Westell 327W that is equipped with a certain revision of the firmware.  If your configuration is different in any respect at all, I'm afraid you will need to continue your search for a solution.

Best of luck to you.
