2407wfp Windows 7 driver

I can't seem to find the driver for this 3 year old monitor for Windows 7.  Although the monitor displays just fine, the flash card reader no longer works.  Considering the cost of this monitor and that it is still fairly young, I hope Dell is planning to create the driver.   They seem to have created one for the 3007 monitor (same vintage).

We only created one for the 3007WFP-HC, not the 3007WFP. If your monitor is not in the Drivers for Microsoft Windows 7 drop down list, there will not be one. Windows 7 will load its generic PNP driver for the monitor. You can try loading the Vista driver in Windows 7.

Has this situation changed?  I still can't find a Windows 7 driver for this display.  I have 2 of these, both connected to Windows 7 machines and can't use the card reader on either of them.  I suspect that the display driver is irrelevant here as the card reader is a USB connected part of the display.  So what is the solution?

Nick.

If it is not here under "Drivers for Microsoft Windows 7", then there will not be one. You need to load the Vista driver in Compatibility mode.
