Non-Responsive customer service from dell

 

I have never been replied for earlier 3 Cases, dated March02, 03, and 04 with id's as.

1. Case ID:  OrderStatusRequest

2. Case ID:  MWD

3. Case ID:  Delivery related enquiries

 

Can I get a Delivery status on this.

 

I ahve called the Sales person Arvind, he gave me Sydney Warehouse number which I called 4 Times in 2 days, both 04 March(THU) and 05 March (FRI). I was told that it should have been delivered, but no-one was able to locate where the order was stuck. When I called the DB Schenker, they told me they have delivery confirmation for 09 March, which is just un-acceptable, as talking to all these people It felt Dell is lying to you. That Dell does not have ethics enough to take responsibility of their delay.

Just got in touch with Dell representative about the delivery. The customer service advised, these are the exact words

"Word of advice, please don't look at Estimated delivery date from online orderstatus".

Okay, so what were these two updates, when I received the order confirmation it said,

"This e-mail is to inform you that your order is now ready to be sent out from our factory to the shipment address and we aim to deliver on or before 03-Mar-2010. " - on 25 Feb 2010.

So what does "we aim to deliver on or before 03-Mar-2010." exactly means to Dell -- Nothing much I believe.

DB Schenker has responded with 9 Or 10 March as estimated delivery date. already 6-7 days delayed, and they were kind of proud while telling me this, like it would still be like, the total feeling was like a Italian mafia who might put it like this, "we don't usually stick to our promises on delivery, but for you we will do it by say 9 Or 10 March."

The order is for Australia, to be delivered in Sydney.

Should I still be using USA escalation form.

The monitor Got delivered yesterday.

3 cheers to DB Schenker, and just ok for "delayed services by Dell".

What I really want to pass on as a point here is, like DB Schenker, be sure what you provide and "stick to your word", if there is a delay or problem "respond to customers", rather than customers beating their heads against your overloaded customer service.

But Still thanks to Dell Engineers for creating this marvellous peace of engineering.

U2711 is much better than competing iMac 27" Screen, with lesser price, more options, and thinner edges.
