Dell E207WFP Driver for Windows 7

Bought the above mentioned Monitor (E207WFP LCD) a couple of years back and am trying to get it to work as a split screen with my new Windows 7 software.  When I go to the Download Monitor Driver Dell website it does not list it as a Monitor under the Windows 7 drop down box.  Does this mean I am out of luck or is there another driver that I should download to get it going.  I have tried the search forum route and came up empty there as well.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If your monitor is not in the Drivers for Microsoft Windows 7 drop down list, there will not be one. Windows 7 will load its generic PNP driver for the monitor. The other option is to try loading the XP or Vista driver in Windows 7 using Compatibility Mode.

Hello there,

It is always best to check with the software manufacturer FIRST. They will tell you if they have tested the product and the version, as well as whether or not it will work with Windows 7.

There is a pulldown from which you can choose "hardware" and "software".

In any event a lot of the times, Vista drivers will work in lieu of Windows 7 drivers, however, it's not 100%!

As stated previously, it's best to have the Windows 7 certified drivers installed.

Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 Support Forum located here http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/w7itpro/ . It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams. You may want to check the threads available there for additional assitsance and support.
