vista cannot connect to wireless network in normal mode
I have Dell Studio with vista, the problem is, I cannot connect to wireless network in normal mode, but it connect in safe mode. The networking and sharing center is not visible in normal mode. I tried reboot and do diagnostic, still the same, it did not work? Is anybody out there encounter the same problem and knows how to solve it? Can you share it to me?

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Scan your system for Virus/Malware to see if it is clean. This can sometimes cause these problems.

I have the same issue and have discovered that my system started having problems after the 8/26/10 McAfee update. Now, network info is not visable. I hate to have to do a pc repair/restore because I'll have to reload all of my software. Has anyone found a resolution to restoring the network info?

I found out and solved the problem of my laptop. In safe mode with networking, try to restore your system (you don't have to reload the software), then go in system configuration uncheck the safe mode and check the normal mode then check the restart. The problem of my laptop is every time I trouble shoot my wireless printer, the wireless network is not visible, but it is visible in safe mode with networking, now I decided to uninstall it. I works fine now.... I don't know if it is work in your computer, just try it...

My problem is being solve now...... thanks for dropping your opinion..... I share to everybody what I did...... in safe mode networking I restore the system and I did the configuration to go back in normal mode. Now I figure out what's the problem of my dell studio laptop. Everytime I troubleshoot my lexmark wireless printer, I cannot connect the wireless network. I decided to uninstall the lexmark, now it's work find and no problem to connect the wireless network. Now my other problem, is my wireless printer, I install the software I followed the instruction, it used to print and scan without problem, now I don't know what's the problem.... I will try to fix it and I will share to everybody the solution if I can fix it.... hope I will....
