Power Consumption, M1000E with 8 blades, ESSA no good

Hi all, anyone know why in the ESSA you can only configure an M1000E chassis with 1 or 16 blades?

I need to be able to show the max power consumption of a chassis with 8 blades. Just seems the ESSA has a glitch.

thanks

I was able to duplicate the issue. As an alternative solution, what you can use is the Data Capacity planner at

http://www.dell.com/content/topics/topic.aspx/global/products/pedge/topics/en/config_calculator?c=us&cs=&l=en&s=gen

Scroll down past the ESSA to the DCCP option.  From there, the chassis is already at 16 blades.  From here, you can remove 10 blades to get down to 6 to match your system.

ahh cool ty. that should do the job. I cannot select newer 610 blades but hopefully they miss the technicality :)
