Ok then...at this time, what would be the best method of doing this? The vSphere plug-in?

Hi Tim, thanks for the post. The current version of OME only supports "in-band" system updates. This is in our roadmap to be included in a future release. Thanks, Rob
Yes. That would be the way to go. We're working on this feature as fast as we can! :)
