Hi 13jimmy,
Allow me to sincerely apologize for any difficulties you may have encountered in attempting to resolve your concerns.
Check if the computer restarts in safe mode. Restart the computer and tap F8 on Dell logo and select safe mode.
If the issue persists, boot the computer into BIOS (restart the computer and tap F2 on Dell logo) and check if the computer restarts in BIOS.
Also, run diagnostics on the computer (restart the computer by holding FN and Power button simultaneously) let the diagnostics complete.
Let me know the status.
Awaiting your response!

i did press F8 at restart and the computer did boot in BIOS...but i
dnt know if the problem is solved or not..
and along with booting there was an option of "Disable automatic

Hi 13jimmy,
Kindly check the option of Disable automatic restart. Now restart the computer and check if the computer restarts.
Below steps would help you in unchecking Automatic restart:
If the issue persists, I recommend using the computer in safe mode with networking (restart the computer and tap F8 on Dell logo and select safe mode with networking).
Check the behavior of computer in safe mode.
Awaiting your response !

Hi 13jimmy,
Please check if the computer shows same behavior in safe mode. Restart the computer and tap F8 on Dell logo and select safe mode.
Also run diagnostics. Restart the computer by holding the Fn and power button. The diagnostics would start.
post back the diagnostics results.
Awaiting your response!
