8300 dell dimension hard drive replace
Hey -- I've got a Dell Dimension 8300 Desktop (I know what a dinosaur). Hard drive crashed -- had backed-up data. Looking to replace hard drive which was a WD1200 Serial ATA hard drive (120.0 GB). Would entertain an upgrade that is compatible with current setup (XP PRO operating sytem). Did install new RAM (maxed out) six months ago. Any suggestions about a replacement hard-drive? Hi,
The system is compatible with maximum SATA hard drive of 250 GB and 7200rpm. You can choose amongst well-known brands like Western Digital or Maxtor and so on.
