Having issue with webcam and bluetooth on inspiron 15r N5110.

Please help me guys i have issue with my webcam and bluetooth i have installed a fresh copy of windows 7 on it after that i have installed all driver from cd in right order which came with laptop. i have installed dell webcam central it shows no supported webcam found.

i have seen in forums and on other sites that installing fresh copy of windows 7 installs webcam drivers itself.

and problem with bluetooth is when i active wireless from wireless switch a window pops up showing usb not recognized i think that is only the problem but why i have installed chipset drivers also.

Hi Shahrukh504,

I would recommend, installing the chipset drivers on the computer and webcam drivers as well.

Chipset :http://dell.to/QHpdvi

Webcam : http://bit.ly/i8RkJO

Also, run diagnostics on the computer. Below link would help you to run diagnostics on the computer:

http://dell.to/U4rPVx

From the above link select “Component” and select Camera and run diagnostics.

Kindly private message me the service tag of the computer, so that I can check for the correct drivers.

I am sending you a private message as well. Click on “Inbox” to respond to the message and provide system’s Service Tag and contact details so I may access your system records and check for further course of action. You could also click on Start Conversation to send a private message.

Awaiting your response!

Shahrukh504,

Did you install the Dell System Software and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

Start with the Dell System Software, then chipset drivers and follow the list.

Windows 7/8 is supposed to provide the webcam drivers for most Dell computers. If you system needs webcam drivers, go to Drivers & Downloads enter your service tag, then select your operating system. If your system needs webcam drivers, they'll be listed under Input.

Try reading...

Troubleshooting the Dell Webcam and Dell Webcam Central Software

You can try this file, also known as Dell Webcam Central.

Create a new unrestricted user account and try the webcam. Did the webcam work?

If yes, log out and log back in to your account and try the webcam. Did the webcam work?

If no, then the webcam became detached from the motherboard, usually near the webcam

Is your computer is under warranty?
