Yes, The PERC H800 controller is compatible with the PE R710. If you have an open slot in the server you can add the H800 and then connect the MD1200 to that controller. You would be able to manage both from inside the Open Manage Server Administrator. I would advise to ensure that OMSA is up to date to the latest version .
Unfortunately, you would not be able to put both of those arrays on a Perc 6E controller. The reason is because the MD1200 is a 6GB SAS array and the MD1000 is a 3GB array and the connectors are completely different. For the MD1200 you would need a Perc H800 controller.

I also have a PE-R710 with PERC6e and MD1000. Is it possible to ADD a PERCH800 into the existing PE-R710 and attach it to the MD1200, leaving the MD1000 and PERC6e intact?
