VSM VE - Plugin Still Appears?

Afternoon Chaps,

Just trying to get to grips with using VSMVE, I didn't understand what to put into the management IP so the VM was up and down while I tired to figure it out.

In between this happening, I left the Management IP to DHCP and its added a plugin into our VCenter server and now it wont remove itself!

I've manually put the IP back to 6.0.2.137 and unregistered the plugin, but its still sitting there.

Here are the screenshots:

Thanks in advance!

To get rid of a plugin which is registered in vcenter perform the following action

1. Use your browser and point it to https://yourvcs.example.org:443/mob and login with your credentials

2. Click  RetrieveServiceContent followed by invoke

3. Resize the popup and click on ExtensionManager

4. Find the extension  in the list and klick on the name. Copy the value from "key" into clipboard.

5. Use the back button from the browser and choose method "UnregisterExtension"

6. Paste the name of the extenion into the value field and press invoke method.

Its easy isnt it? The "/mob" is the Moref Object Browser.

Joerg
