N5010 0Xc00000e error after system recovery
I recently replaced the hard drive in my N5010. Using WIN7 recovery media USB that was created when I first got the machine (2011), I was able to successfully restore the pc to a factory image, go through the setup for initial use, and complete one successful reboot. However, on successive reboots, I receive the following error " 0xc00000e boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible". I am also unable to boot to a WIN7 emergency repair CD, receiving an error code. I read that this is a known problem when recovering from USB created by 3rd party (i.e. Dell Data Safe) and the solution is to install a WIN7 CD and select repair. Problem is, the recovery USB is the only media I have since Dell doesn't provide Windows installation disks.
Any suggestions on how to proceed? Thanks in advance.

Hi MikeYuinny,
Boot to the BIOS and check your hard drive controller. If you have the option, set it to ATA, then reboot.

Tried it; booted to BIOS and changed hard drive controller to ATA but no change. Still getting the same error.
