XPS 13 (L322X) keyboard backlight always on after Windows 8.1 upgrade
After upgrading to Windows 8.1, my XPS 13 keyboard backlight remains on 100% of the time. i can turn it off with the function key on the keyboard, but after a restart the problem repeats. Also, I have not found away to get it to automatically turn off after the keyboard has not been touched for some time (which is how the backlight is supposed to work).
Is there any fix for this? I've already installed all of the Windows 8.1 drivers from your website.

I have this problem now and I'm still using Windows 7. The backlight (which I NEVER want enabled) is not ALWAYS on. All the other function keys work, but the backlight key (Fn + F6) does nothing. It worked fine until a couple of days ago. Still a pain that I had to manually turn off the backlight each time instead of giving us the option of setting its behavior like your older XPS 13, but anyway what's the fix for this? How do I get the backlighting to respond correctly to the function key? Better yet: how do I disable the backlight completely?
