Laptop Bluetooth Texting and Contacts Bug?

I have a Dell computer (inspiron 15-3521) that has blue tooth on it. I connected my phone (LG-C395) to the bluetooth. The calling works fine (except for I have to wait for someone to call me or I have to call someone using the phone in order for the options to pop-up), but the texting doesn't work and the contacts won't sync. The texts always say send failed and the contacts (after I press the sync button) just continuously say that they're syncing. Is there a way to fix this?
