Suren24,

Couple questions for you.

Did you install OMSA at the host, or VM?
Have you rebooted since installing?
Are you getting a red or yellow certificate flag in browser?

Lastly, is the IP pingable?

Let me know what you find.

Chris,

I'm having the same problem. I installed OMSA on my PC and logged on to access my server only to receive a certificate error message. The IP is pingable and I am able to ssh.

Approve the certificate. So you do see the login though? What browser are you using?

A couple things that might make this easier...

First, you have to install the agent part of OMSA on the server so that the web server on your laptop has something to talk to.  (if you do a custom install on your laptop, you'll see that is the only thing that installs)  Then if you did not install the web component on your server, you open a browser on your laptop and go to https://localhost:1311 since your laptop is the one with the web server part on it.  Then on the login page, you provide login information for the server (admin account) and in that page it will have a blank for the system to manage, and you put in the server's IP address there.

Second, if you have a 12th generation server and an iDRAC 7 Enterprise, it can do pretty much everything you can do in OMSA plus a bunch more, so you can skip all the software installs and just use that.
