Internet exployer

When trying to connect to internet I get message "Internet explorer has stopped working a problem caused the program to stop working properly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." then there is the "DEBUG CLOSE PROGRAM but needless to say non of this happens or help any can help?

Always include PC model, version of Windows and -in this case, version of Internet Explorer- in your post.

If you have the option on Start>Programs for " Internet Explorer (No add-ons) ", try that... If that works, you'll need to figure out which add-on is causing the problem and disable it or reinstall it.

Wish I could help, cause I get a LOT of that. xps8700 windows 7, and whatever worse and latest version that internet explorer can come up with. Also having lots and lots of problems switching from one site to another, hangups saying I.E. could not find the page. FUNNY, it's happens on 2 different desktops and my laptop, and the laptopis wireless so it is configured differently. Is it all just a coincidence? Doubt it very much. The ISP could also have a lot to do with it. Anyone familiar with Time Warner Cable? I hope the place burns down!

It could be a toolbar or browser helper object. It's possible to restore IE to default settings and remove any such software, which might fix this issue.
