HL-DT-ST DVDRWBD CA30N driver required

Hi guys,

I recently wiped my X51 and reinstalled windows. Everything was fine until i tried to play a bluray. It will play CD's and DVD's and I have now found that it has installed the standard CD-ROM driver.

Does anyone know where I can get the correct driver as I have been going around in circles on the Dell website and googling it does not bring me any joy either

Your help is very much appreciated

Hi Philljk,

The standard CD driver is used by Windows for all optical drives. There is no special driver for blu ray drives. What you need to play blu ray discs is the application, like PowerDVD.

Hi,

I agree, you don't need a driver, you need PowerDVD, you may be able to find the download here: http://bit.ly/1gwSse5

Please let us know how it goes.
