Trying to Uninstall Dell Data Protection/Security Tools

I am trying to uninstall the Dell Data Protection/Security Tools from a Latitude 5520 laptop.  When I try to uninstall the program I am getting a message "Removal Failed'.  How can I uninstall this software?

Thanks,

I'm pretty sure you can't uninstall it. I know if you have the Enterprise edition, you don't even have an option to uninstall it - the only way to get rid of it is to wipe the drive and reinstall Windows.

That is not true it can be uninstalled.  I have been able to do so with at least 25 Dell laptop computers.  There is just one that I cannot install it from and don't know why.

Hi cwirth,

Have you managed to solve the problem?

I am having similar issue. Can't uninstall DDP Encryption - it does not show up in Control Panel - Programs and feature. Neither Uninstall command is available in shell menu.

Thanks.
