I really have no idea anymore.

Hello,

First off I'd just like to state my computer specs:

• Processor: Intel Core i5-3450s CPU 2.80GHz
• RAM : 6.00GB
• Hard drive: Crucial_CT240M500SSD1 (500GB SSD)
• System : 64-bit OS, x64 based processor
• Graphics card(s) : AMD radeon HD7700 Series

and - Intel(R) HD Graphics card(which is the default built in one)

Well my problem is that when my monitor (LG Flatron E2242) is connected to my AMD Radeon graphics card the maximum possible resolution is 1600 x 900; but, when I change to the default graphics card (intel hd graphics) it says the maximum resolution is 1920 x 1080 which it should be.

I have already check for new drivers, I've also tried out the AMD graphics card with different monitors and it says exactly the same thing. What I want to do is just display my screen to be 1920x1080 on the AMD graphics card.  Not 1600 x 900.

Also It is important to add that yesterday I changed my hard drive from a 1TB HDD to a 500GB SSD. and before changing the hard drive everything worked fine, the AMD graphics card worked before the change at 1920 x 1080. The only thing that has changed is the hard drive. Also my computer says that the monitor is a Generic non-PnP Monitor. The driver for it doesn't exists and I've searched everywhere to find it. I was just thinking to get another graphics card.

Any suggestions on how to fix or anything really. I can provide screen shots if required :)
