Dell Inspiron 15 3542 graphics drivers
What happens if I install the latest Intel and Nvidia graphics drivers instead of the OEM ones? Should I expect any malfunctions?

Hi,
The drivers available on the Dell Support Pages have been tested and verified to work with the Dell systems and models they're listed for. That being said, the drivers available from the hardware manufacturers generally should work, and you shouldn't see any sort of malfunction with the system or components. Of course, there are always exceptions and if you do have problems, and contact Dell's Tech Support, they'll advise you to revert back to the drivers released by Dell.
But really, you shouldn't have much, if any, problems with drivers provided by Intel or Nvidia.
