HDMI Output not working for Dell XPS L502X not working after upgrading to Windows 10
Hello everyone,
Okay so I have this Dell XPS L502X Laptop which I purchased in 2012. The Laptop came with Microsoft Windows 7 Home Edition.
Earlier its HDMI output to my Sony LED used to work fine.
But few months ago, as offered by Microsoft, I upgraded my Laptop OS from Windows 7 Home edition to Windows 10 home edition. Since upgrade everything has worked just fine except, I do not receive HDMI output to my television.
I have tried searching for online solutions but not sure what could be the problem? Can someone please guide me in right direction?

I am glad to update this thread, the problem of my laptop screen not displaying using HDMI on my Sony Television, has resolved on its own with the latest update for Windows 10 which includes version 1607 OS Build : 14393.187
To anyone who is still struggling for configuring HDMI output for their laptop to their television after Windows 10 upgrade, I am sure the latest Windows update will solve the problem.

I just experienced this same problem and what worked for me was going to display settings choosing the second screen (even though it may not show anything on the screen) and selecting extend displays and checking the make "make this my primary display" box. Hope that helps if you're still looking or if anyone else has this problem! If this doesn't work try repeating this after installing the nvidia drivers for the graphics card. Good luck!

Yes, the HDMI port is working fine with my LED TV but the audio is not working, instead audio plays in my laptop speakers and video in the TV - hometheatre is connected to TV which is not working. Any fixes please??
