Dell XPS 13 L322x white/stripey screen
Hi,
The screen on my xps 13 l322x went black during use, after reboot all i get is a white screen during boot, no dell logo, then a screen full of tiny strips of various shades of colour. I can still log into the OS but cant see anything but stripes. Is this likely to need a new screen, just a new lcd ribbon cable, or is some part of the motherboard faulty.

To determine what's at fault, attach an external monitor. If it displays a good image, the wiring harness or LCD is most likely at fault.
If the external monitors shows the same fault, it's the GPU (and therefore the mainboard needs to be replaced, since the GPU is not a separate component in this model system).
