How do I repair this monitor under the warranty? U2715H 210-ADSO

Hello. I am going to buy this monitor - U2715H 210-ADSO. Though, I have some questions about how I can repair it under warranty. In my case, I am going to buy the monitor from an online shop in Ukraine. The sire says the warranty term is 36 months. But,how do I repair it under warranty? Do I have to come to Dell's service centre and just show them the monitor? Or, do I have to show them some warranty certidicate/guarantee card? Maybe, I can just show them the shop's receipt?
Do I have to ask the shop to give me some warranty or is it already in the box?
All in all, I want to know how I will be able to repair the monitor if it stops working properly. Please, help me! I have been saving for a year, and don't want to lose my money in vain.

Sergei from Ukraine.

By the way, how do I know if this is a Dell seller? They do not have any info about it on their site.
* If they were an authorized seller, it would show on their site.

So, in this case the warranty will start from the date the shop bought the monitor, right? (i.e. if they bought it a year ago, my warranty will be shortened by that year?).
* Not from when they bought it, from the date code on the monitor label.

And, OK, what if I buy it from your site? Could you tell me how I can do it from Ukraine?
* Here is the Dell Ukraine monitor page. You just need to keep checking it to see if the U2715H will appear.

Do you think there are any official partners who can sell online?
* Unknown.

There is not a "repair" option for Dell monitors. Dell simply exchanges it after troubleshooting. When bought from a non-Dell seller, the warranty starts and ends based on the date code in the 20 digit serial number, not from when you bought it. To get the full 36 months, you should buy directly from our Dell site.

Thank you for your reply, DELL-Chris M.

As far as I understand, the Internet shop where I am going to buy the monitor is not a Dell seller ;-) By the way, how do I know if this is a Dell seller? They do not have any info about it on their site.

Also, I live on the very edge ofUkraine, very far from the capital - and the partners are only there. Do you think there are any official partners who can sell online?

Best, Sergey.

That Ukrainian Dell site is not useful. They do not even have my monitor on their site. And the site is so useless and clumsy and user-hostile ;-( Pfff.

Though, they have a list of partners. They all do not sell to people, only to corporations and big fish. But, they list one firm which sells this monitor online. Good, the company is Everest.ua.

Thank you for the useful info. You must have saved my some nerves, by telling that info on warranty. I want it to be fully 36 months, not some 5 months because the product was kept in their warehouse for ages.

Have a good day, Chris M :-)
