Rusty admin - general question on SC40

Question

Hello, New to forums, and it has been a number of years since I've managed a Compellent (SC40).  I thought the system could dedup data on a volume and thought it had a method to report on those statistics but I can't for the life of me remember how / where that info can be set or seen.  Perhaps I am wrong and it was some other system.  I have dual controllers running OS 6.3.? and 3 shelves of disks.  I do have access to the controllers HTTP site to do most of the setup & management, and have access to the Compellent Enterprise Manager system and client. Could someone point me in the right direction, or confirm that I'm losing my mind.  Any help would be appreciated, thanks. -A

SC40 do not have the ability to run deduplication. You must have an SC8000, or SC9000 to be able to do this due to the need for a higher level of software.
