Inspiron One 2305

Inspiron One 2305 will not boot, power button stays solid "amber".  Followed previous posts on battery, have removed, tried to boot same solid "amber".  Held power for 30 seconds many times with battery removed, same solid "amber" light on power button.  Held power power button with power disconnected for 30 seconds, installed in battery in motherboard, same problem, power light remains solid "amber".  The back is removed, the fan spins with the solid "amber" light ON.  Have removed RAM modules, power ON with RAM removed. no beeps during post.

Please help.

Hi ard12147,

Thank you for writing to Dell Community Forum.

Solid amber indicates an issue with system board, memory, processor or the power supply. The troubleshooting indicates the motherboard as the most likely faulty component.
