Inspiron 13 5368 Processor Fan Fail Error Code
I get a 2000-0511 Processor Fan Fail error and cannot correct it. I tried updating the driver and cleaning the air vent slots at the bottom but I still get the error. The machine is still under warranty until 12/2/2017.
How can I fix this or can I send it back t Dell for repair?

Hi AGCHAN1,
Does the system overheat? Do you hear the fan spin?
Update the BIOS and restart and check.
If the issue stands unresolved, Restart the system and press f12 key on startup - choose diagnostics. Let it run the diags and if you encounter any errors - make a note of the complete error and report the same to us. These are onboard diagnostics and they might possible pick some error if the hardware is not functional.
Also, please click my DELL-username and write me a private message with the service tag and your Name for case records. Based on the warranty and region, we can setup the service call.

The laptop does not overheat. I do not hear any fan noise.
I updated the BIOS and I get the same error code, 2000-0511.

I see that you have contacted our phone support team and they have already booked a service call.
I suppose the issue should be resolved after parts replacement at the depot.
