Inspiron 17R 5720 - Need Memory Specs!!
Greetings ~ I have been unable to find this information anywhere, including the manual. My Inspiron 17R 5720 has 6GB of PC3-12800S RAM. I would like to upgrade it to the MAX.
Can anyone help me out by telling me how much RAM this laptop can take, and the top chip speed it can handle?

Inspiron™ 5720/17R has 2 SODIMM memory slots which support:
Inspiron™ 5720/17R supports a maximum of 8 GB system memory.
1600 SODIMM DDR3 for Ivy Bridge Processors
Supported memory configurations
Inspiron™ 5720/17R has two user-accessible SODIMM sockets, both slots can be accessed after removing the base door. When both DIMM connectors are populated, the system has optimum dual-channel performance unless channels A and B have different amounts of memory.
