Dell Inspiron 3668 desktop BSOD - when updating to Win 10 Creators fall update. Any suggestions?

This morning, Windows update offered me the Windows 10 creators fall update. I agreed to install it, so it downloaded it and installed it. It needed to reboot it and then is counted up to show the installation. When it reached 35%, it went BSOD. The screen said something about ks.sys. It then reinstalled the old Win 10.

I repeated this and the same thing happened. I then tried the Windows 10 update assistant and the same thing happened.

As my 3668 is pretty new, I assume it should be able to be updated. Anyone got any ideas what I should do next? Or how to fix it?

Thank you for your message.

This error could be caused by an old driver or application installed which is not complete with the fall update or something had a conflict with the update.

What is the BIOS version installed on your system?

Do you have any external devices connected to the system?

For my reference, please click on my Dell username & send a private message with the service tag, registered name & email address.
