Does 3.5" Hard Drive fit in Alienware M17?
Hi,
I am looking to upgrade my hard drive of my M17 alienware, currently have 1TB 5krpm 2.5".
Looking at WD 4TB 3.5" 7krpm, only concern is will a 3.5" hard drive fit?

Also I would intend to go to a computer shop to get it installed and perform a transfer of all the stored memory on my current HDD to the new one.

Hello! If you are looking for large amounts of storage space, you may consider an external USB 3.0 drive as well. Granted if you need to transfer files or access files back and forth, the current drive you have will hinder it, but i'm not sure if they make 4TB 2.5in drives yet or not.
