Ideal drivers for m11x r1. Intel and nVidia

I recently went through a reformat of my system with a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit and ever since then, I haven't been able to get my m11x to switch to my high performance nVidia Geforce GT 335m card with the FN-F6 function (note: the graphics icon at the bottom desktray is also missing so I cannot switch via that way). I have installed multiple Intel and nVidia drivers with no success.

My drivers I currently have installed are: 

nVidia:

Via nVidia site: Driver Version 310.70

Via Device Manager: Driver Version 9.18.13.1070, Date: 12/3/2012

Intel: 

Via Device Manager: Driver Version 8.15.10.2302, Date: 2/11/2011

Also a sidenote issue I've been having is that whenever I move my laptop while unplugged, it will randomly turn off and I will be prompted to 'Start Windows normally' when restarting, which renders having a laptop kinda pointless.

Any help with getting my laptop back to how it was would be appreciated. :)
