Alienware Aurora R5 - crashes/freezes and internet browser issues

So I just got my new AW Aurora R5 this Monday and its started freezing up and forcing me to hold the power button to turn it OFF then ON again.  Happens every 4-6 hours it seems.  Might be screen saver related but I'm just using a default W10 screen saver. Message about critical bla bla pops up for 2 seconds....

When browsing the web the web browser jumps back to top of page irratically on some sites with video content on them.  If you try to watch a web based video the bowser crashes and won't recover. This happens in IE11, Edge and Chrome. All the same so I think it must be some video card issue maybe.

I updated the BIOS and most of the drivers.  But still happening.   Help please!

My system is as follows. Win10 x64 Home, i7 processor 3.4 GHz, 32 Gig DDR4 2133 RAM, 500 gig PCIe SSD, 850 W power, Bios V1.09, AMD 480 vcard 8 gig. 

I have 3 Logitech mice & 1 keyboard all USB wireless into it and an LG 27" UHD monitor via DP1.2 cable. And network is wired, with a Canon USB scanner attached.

Props for getting 850w PS and using DP interface for monitor and wired Ethernet.

Check Event Viewer for exact error message... it's likely telling you what is wrong.

Is Device Manager free of errors?

What video card driver are you using, and have you tried "clean-installing" it.

Hey, in DeviceManager ... is it showing AMD (dedicated) card AND an Intel (on-board) video card?

Device manager had an error on the "AMD high Def Audio Device" but I corrected that so now no errors.  Still same problem with browser freezing and crashing, unrecoverable.  

Display drivers showed "Intel HD Graphics 530" AND "Radeon RX 480 Graphics", so I  disabled the intel driver.  Same issue still.

Original AMD Radeon RX 480 driver v21.19.137.1, updated Driver via Windows to v16.200.1035.0 just now will see what happens.

Event viewer of most recent browser failure is as follow (while running v21.19.137.1):

Not 100% sure what to do with this... Any thoughts?

I will restart and see what happens with "new" old version AMD driver.

1. See if you can disable the on-board Intel video from BIOS.

2. Yes, good to try both the Windows (suggested or given) Windows Update driver and then the latest AMD release driver for RX-480 (but separately) . Are you familiar with proper video driver "clean install" procedures?

3. Hmm. Yes, that might be Edge browser crashing. I wonder if something like this might provide more info as to the cause.

I will restart and see what happens with "new" old version AMD driver.

While that driver appears to be much older (and it might actually be) ... remember that there are various driver types (2D, 3D, etc.) and also a Package  ... all of which have "driver versions". Sometimes it's hard to compare "apples to apples".

In addition to the Windows and AMD.com drivers for this card, Dell might also have a validated driver posted (might be tweaked in some way).

Well it's working now after just letting Win10 update drivers to its version v16.200.1035.0.  I'll leave it this way for a while to see if stable.  Fingers crossed.  I did not clean install yet but will try that in a few weeks with the AMD.com driver(s) if I find any issues.  Thanks!  The browser freeze/crash was in all 3 I have installed, ie11, edge and chrome.
