OptiPlex GX260
Service Tag Number: F1GTS0J
Ship Date: 7/28/2003
Dell IBU: Europe
Active Limited Warranty Expiration: No Warranty Information Available

Before you do any other drivers you will need the
INF updater.

http://www.intel.com/design/software/drivers/platform/inf.htm

The USB should be fine after XP Service Pack1 and the INF updater.

Try the inf updater and then remove any unknown hardware and see if it finds everything.
