How ignore onboard graphic card and use my GPU on Alienware X51 R2?

Guys,

I have an Alienware X51 R2 and I can't play any games via my GPU (GTX 760 TI OEM).

I have a HDMI port behind my case that gives me access to the Intel onboard card and a display port that (should) give me access to the NVIDIA GPU.

I tried to connect directly from display port to my TV HDMI and... No image, just black screen.

Anyone have an idea to how configure Windows to understand that I don't want to use the Intel onboard card?

Ps. I checked on my device control and the GPU appears there. I'm pretty confident that it is not a hardware problem.

Thanks!

Are you able to connect the TV through another port, does the NVidia card has a HDMI o a mini HDMI port?

If I plug the HDMI in the onboard input, yes, I can see images after Windows 8.1 boots.

My NVIDIA has a displayport. I have an adaptor to use HDMI. Just next to the display port it is a blocked port. It had a plastic cover on it. It should be a mini-HDMI port, but it is really hard to remove the cover from it.

It will be great if you remove the cover and test it with the mini HDMI
