no drive letter assigned
I have 4100 running win me and installed a second hard drive but the os did not assign a drive letter to it.
It is reconized in the bios and in the hardware config.
I have it jumpered to cable select, can anyone help me?

One other thought comes to mind, although I have NO experience with it. Did you happen to have a drive overlay on the old drive?

PS My reference to no on-line support was incorrect. I meant received no phone support. It was considered a third party issue.

I am having a similar problem. My old operating system is Windows 2000. Does that have an effect on things?
