Tesla 1856 rant reply by Zuko

Who let you out? Correction  my computer is 9 years old and I have a lot of pride in the fact that I took care of it that it ran this far without any repair. I take pride in repairing things and I am not interested in your ego rants about when I should throw something out and get a new one. People like you always stick their noses in where it's not wanted or helpful. Reading you rant (wow what power) I find that it has no substance nor does it contribute to the problem and rest assured, that I will get my unit fixed without your advice but with the helpful people who took time to help men with my problem. Oh, I almost forgot.

Umm, Alienware area is slow? Don't feel like doing the business taxes ... take your pick.

Actually, the top/bottom tags were added at the very end as a joke (to lighten the mood and make it more of a generalized posting). I guess I struck a nerve so sorry, I really didn't mean anything by it. The whole rest of the post is what I really think. After 4-pages and 2-motherboards, I thought it was my best advice to you.

Good luck fixing your 9-year-old computer. I'm a firm believer that anything can be fixed if you throw enough time, effort, and money at it. I guess you don't know, but I like to keep systems out of the landfills. We fix them and then give them away (or take to Goodwill) ... hopefully, someone will get some more use out of them. The ones that can't be fixed, we take them to proper recycling center.

You are right about another thing ... I probably shouldn't be posting here. Ok, back to taxes and real work.

Let's play nice here and not use words/phrases that get "bleeped" because they might get you banned.

This is an open forum and everyone is free to give their advice and opinion about dealing with a PC problem.  If someone says something you don't like or don't agree with, don't respond, just ignore it.

Tesla gave you his opinion about what to do next and his advice has its merits, but there was no need to start a new thread just to express your dissatisfaction with his opinion.

And as I've already said several times in your various threads about these problems, only you can decide how much more time and money to invest in fixing this PC. If you think it's worth your time/money, that's all that really matters, and by all means keep trying to fix it...
