S2719DGF, image distortion issue
Shortly after buying S2719DGF, I noticed that top and bottom edges of the screen are darker with a visible border. Here is the photo https://imgur.com/a/sFFhdx9 . It's only visible on darker backgrounds and persists even after unplugging the HDMI. I was wondering if it's backlight bleeding and whether it's something native to this model or a defective unit?

First, turn the room lights on. We do not validate in a dark room.
Second, post pictures of the stand alone Built-in Diagnostics colored screens, page 54. Based on those pictures, I will tell you if it meets our manufacturer standard for overall uniformity.

We could not exchange this monitor. This monitor passes our manufacturer specification for overall uniformity. Our overall uniformity guarantee is that the 5 color zones by themselves meet the manufacturer specifications. If this policy is unacceptable to you, you may return the monitor. If purchased directly from Dell, you have 30 days from Dell invoice date to return the monitor for refund. If not purchased directly from Dell, contact the reseller to arrange a refund.

While I will certainly return it, I'm still curious what this issue might be called. Backlight bleeding usually only affects the edges and makes them lighter, not darker.
