SupportAssist closes immediately after loading

I have a Latitude E6540. Every morning when I login, I get a notification that I should use SupportAssist to optimize my PC. However, every time I try to launch from the Start Menu, the application starts up and then closes shortly after passing the "Loading PC optimization tools" screen. It does not display anything that explains why it's closing, it just closes. I uninstalled the version I had and downloaded the latest from the site (v3.0.2), however I'm still seeing the same issue. I'm currently on Windows 10 Version 1809 OS Build 17763.134. What can I do to get this tool to run on my machine?
