there is no raid 0 on Symmetrix, there are unprotected devices:
There are restrictions on the use of unprotected devices created by symconfigure, or converted to unprotected devices. Such devices cannot be mapped to hosts for normal data storage use.
EMC does not want you to place your primary data on unprotected storage. If you want to use unprotected /BCV devices for secondary copies (timefinder bcv/clones) it’s ok then.

You can make the replica of the full vol which got affected.
I hope that will work fine.
I may be wrong. Can someone advice us in this issue.....
