Are you using any sort of RAID configuration and if so, did you install the drivers in the begninning when the setup asked for them?

What are the specs on the server?

its a poweredge 2600 with a RAID 5 configuration.

I dont think its a raid driver issue as i've not needed to install drivers for them before when I've put sbs 2003 or Windows Server 2003 on the same controllers.  This machine did have server 2003 on it but we needed exchange.  Given the exorbitant cost it worked out cheaper to retrograde to sbs2003

I have oerosnally never used a RAID arry but have always noticed that WARNING in the beginning.  I have installed my copy about a dozen times or so playing with it before I finally setlled on a setup then ghosted the installed image.

Are there any USB devices connected?

I'm having the same problem on a PowerEdge 2800 using the server assistant CD.  How did you solve this?
