Are the VMs inside vAPP or something? X22=8192 skips vmx file from backup so that’s normal

Try to download vmx file yourself from vSphere client usind datastore browser and see if that fails so that you way know where the problem is.

Ensure you have selected all datastores in Administration> Edit each proxy> select all datastores.

On the other hand, when i restore to different vm, avamar shows me "proxy not found", but if i restore to original vm it works ok, any idea about this issue?

I have one only proxy and I have checked all things that the guide for vmware suggests, but Avamar show me tha same error 30901 "FAILED TO INITIATE A BACKUP OR RESTORE FOR A VIRTUAL MACHINE BECAUSE NO PROXY WAS FOUND TO SERVICE THE VIRTUAL MACHINE."

I can´t understand why i can restore to original vm and when i try restore to a different existing vm, avamar show this error.

1) have your VCenter guys check to see if this server needs to have its snapshots consolidated.  (I get that issue every now and then)

2) in administaration go find your proxy - edit it.  Verify there is a checkmark next to all datastores.  If the other machine you are trying to restore is in a different VNX and your proxy has not been told it has access to the VNX it won't work.  Also go to the groups tab and check them all - say ok.
