Do you have "VNXSnapshots" installed on your array ? (right click on array, properties, Software tab). You could use VNX Snaps for pool LUNs. Also while you are looking at Software, is SnapView listed as Active ?
please have a look at the documentation and white papers.
On the VNX there are currently two different block snapshot implementations.
The VNX Snapshots (sometimes called advanced snapshots) are the newer ones that use pools and redirect-on-write while SnapView is the older one that uses RLPs.
If you are using VNX Snapshots you don’t need a SnapView session

i also assume you created a Reserved LUN Pool (needed for SnapView snapshots)

After i press "Create Snapshot" the Snapshot now viewed under Data Protection > Snapshots > Luns Snapshots
so how could i know if that snapshots created also should i create snapview session?
