How can we keep consistent for replicas among multiple VNX?
Hello Everyone,
The customer wants to keep consistent for replicas #1 & #2 of ASM (Failure Group #1 & #2) at using "Failure Groups" in Oracle database among multiple VNX.
Can we do that if we create consistency groups among those VNX (including Failure Group #1 & #2) and replicate those source volumes to the replicas using RecoverPoint CDP?

Hi Hiroki,
You can certainly protect both sets w/ RecoverPoint Local (and/or Remote). One thing to consider is what type of CG to use.
You can setup a single/multiple CGs with Group Set, or a Distributed CG . Both approaches are viable depending on the change rate. If you setup separate CGs, you can create a Group Set in order to ensure consistency among all CGs that belong to that Group Set. Take a look at the Admin Guide section on Manage Group Sets (pg. 200) and let me know if you have any questions.
