Ambari is not displaying Isilon cluster metrics
I have deployed PHD 3.0.1 on Isilon simulator 7.2.1.1 with patch-164059 installed.
I am able to deploy PHD cluster with Isilon host registered successfully..But I am not able to see any of the Namenode metrics on Ambari dashboard..Below message appears in the ambari-server log:
10 Feb 2016 23:08:36,726 WARN [qtp-ambari-agent-276] HeartBeatHandler:744 - Received a live status with invalid payload service, clusterName=isilon_phd, serviceName=HDFS, componentName=DATANODE, hostname=isiloncluster-1, error=Name is null
10 Feb 2016 23:08:36,727 WARN [qtp-ambari-agent-276] HeartBeatHandler:744 - Received a live status with invalid payload service, clusterName=isilon_phd, serviceName=AMBARI_METRICS, componentName=METRICS_MONITOR, hostname=isiloncluster-1, error=Name is null
I am not sure how I can troubleshoot this on Isilon side.. any hints on where can I find ambari agent logs on isilon nodes?
The hdfs commands run successfully from PHD host

Hello,
I would recommend starting with our HDFS troubleshooting guides!

Hi Sandeep,
Isilon OneFS currently does not support Hadoop monitoring agents: Ganglia and Nagios. That's why Ambari is not displaying Isilon cluster metrics.
There is no plan to support Ganglia and Nagios support as both of them go away starting with Ambari 2.x.
Isilon Engineering are looking in to Ambari integration with selective monitoring for Isilon in the future but there is no timeline committed for this.
