Check protect and unprotect VMs
Hi to all,
is it possibile to check which Vms are protected and unprotected in our vmware datacenter?
It happened that a colleague forget to protect a new vm just created.
There are two way:
1) Automatically protect a vm when it is created (is it possible?)
2)Create a report, daily, that show the unprotected vms.
Can you help us?
Thanks and sorry for my bad english

Hi there,
1) While that's not something RP4VMs can do automatically, it's possible to build a flow in which a VM would be protected right after it's created or as a periodic process that protects VMs
2) This report can be created by getting which VMs are protected in RP4VMs (via CG settings) and then excluding these from VM inventory when querying vCenter
Hope that helps,

Hi Ldan,
thanks for your answer.
Whan you say " it's possible to build a flow in which a VM would be protected right after it's created or as a periodic process that protects VMs" are you referring to a flow in vmware or recoverpoint?

VMware-based flow that will trigger RP4VMs protection flow.
